Big Sean announces new music: “Time to have some fun with this”

The visual finds Sean performing both songs from his latest album, Detroit 2, accompanied by a band of instrumentalists and Hit-Boy, who produced “Lucky Me.”

Sean opens up about his surprising heart disease diagnosis on “Lucky Me” and a past break-up on “Still I Rise,” featuring Dom Kennedy, who was absent from the video.

Thursday evening, Sean took to Instagram to share photos from his childhood to now, as a celebratory birthday post to himself, while giving fans an update about new music.
